Innovative Holiday Card Samples

Harris & Bruno International is a print industry leader in offering innovative paper coatings and finishings to help brands create high-quality, cost-effective print materials that truly stand out. Their development of a new in-line press technology that coats uncoated paper and applies a variety of finishings in a single pass helps reduce print costs and unlocks new levels of creativity. The company wanted to produce a series of sample materials using an uncoated sheet to demonstrate the game-changing nature of this print technology.  

The goal was to showcase the superior quality, process efficiency and cost reduction of this new in-line press solution in creating print materials with high-end finishings. With the holidays fast approaching, Harris & Bruno wanted to print a series of holiday cards each with a unique finishing technique that enhanced the tactile or sensory appeal of the piece. The cards needed to be printed on an uncoated sheet and the design concepts needed to account for the variety of finishing techniques Harris & Bruno can execute. 

The Heavyweights by Accent® Opaque proved to be the ideal uncoated sheet to spotlight the cost- and time-saving capability of this in-line technology — it was also the ideal canvas for festive, full-color designs that supplemented finishings like foils and UV treatments, including Soft Touch and High Gloss. Not only do the four holiday cards demonstrate the superior print efficiency and cost-effective nature of this single-pass coating and finishing technology, each one serves as a strong selling point for what designers can achieve in partnering with Harris & Bruno.
